Bird pests are known to carry a range of diseases and humans can develop symptoms similar to influenza from the spores in bird droppings alone. Birds can also be hosts to other insect pests. Bird Netting

Rentokil Boecker® bird nets are designed to exclude birds. Their aim is to prevent birds from roosting and nesting on roofing, crevices and other areas. This method has been proved to work by physically preventing pest birds from entering the intended places. Bird control netting is highly versatile and can be used in a variety of premises, including buildings, rooftops, fisheries, agricultural areas, and more.

Bird Spikes

Rentokil Boecker® uses Oisipic bird spikes to prevent birds from landing in your premises. The Chabanne company has developed a range of high-performance anti-bird spikes to keep away pigeons, sparrows, starlings, or seagulls and gulls, using the ingenious systems of stainless steel or PVC picks. All spikes are harmless and non-disruptive bird deterrents.

Baited Bird Cages

Birds can be trapped using baited cages in certain situations. Cages need to be serviced regularly so the birds are not left in a distressed state without food and water. Then the captured birds must be treated humanely.

Bird Hazer

The bird hazing system releases a fine mist of repellent to effectively deter pest birds from enclosed and semi-enclosed areas. Its advanced nozzle produces particles smaller than 1 micron for optimal distribution. This cost-effective system uses less liquid repellent than others and can control up to six satellite units for comprehensive coverage. Additionally, it is non-harmful, ensuring a humane approach to pest control.

Bird Avishock

Rentokil Boecker® provides the Avishock system which operates by delivering a mild electrical shock to birds upon landing, similar to the agricultural electric fences. Hawking

Hawking offers a humane solution by flying trained birds of prey around an area to create the illusion of predator presence, deterring nuisance birds without attacking them. Handlers regularly visit to determine the needed frequency of flights, adjusting strategies for different species. This natural and ethical method is discreet and preserves the aesthetic integrity of buildings, making it ideal for museums, monuments, and heritage sites.

Bird Wire

Bird wire is an effective solution for preventing birds from roosting on exposed ledges, sills, and beams. It can be installed on any surface and is less visible and more aesthetically pleasing than bird spikes. Additionally, bird wire is non-harmful, providing a humane approach to bird control.
